Entering The Ragonion Rookiverse

in 2013, as a writer, athlete, coder and sports enthusiast, Rasheed “Rookey” Marsh took the initiative (after being implored to by his late father), to start his own company (Rookey Enterprise Incorporated), and becoming the hub and umbrella for all of his future business entities, which allowed Rasheed to potentially franchise and license all of his series content, his simulated characters, his curated teams and leagues, and game development content. However, due to his lack of capital and funding from a solo game developer and small business owner, Rasheed was forced to take an alternative route in order to promote his simulated content and leagues,

The Birth of BallerNation

Rasheed would to continue his mission of inspiring and revitalizing each community within New York, and resolving his issue once he created BallerNation, a sports entity that became the official home for his all of his series content, video games development, all of his curated teams, merchandise, simulated characters, simulated leagues. This allowed Rasheed to build on the momentum and to continue to maintain the excitement of the communities when he began his next ventures.

However, due to Rasheed being a solo game developer and small business owner, he was forced to take an alternative route in order to promote his content and simulated leagues due to he lacked the appropriate amount of support, capital and funding.

Rasheed was able to momentarily to resolve this issue by using the word-of-mouth approach, allowing Rasheed to promote and introduce Three of his newly created innovations that he integrated into BallerNation; The ‘Nation Games, The “Challenge List” and The “Tier Points (TPs) System”. All three of Rasheed’s creations were designed to incentivize every member into boosting both of their simulated characters statistics along with their membership status. In order to maintain the buzz and excitement that he organically generated, Rasheed began hosting multiple ‘Nation Games in various parks and communities from 2014 – 2019.
‘Nation Games are competitive seasonal scrimmage games and Tournaments that provides each BallerNation member with ample opportunities to play in high level competitions, at economical rates.

‘Nation Games provides each BallerNation member a chance at competing in any of the ‘Nation Games events, while simultaneously being rewarded Tier Points (TPs) for completing any their additional sets of in-game tasks and objectives completed in The “Challenge List“.

Each member must first compete in the BNL (BallerNation Leagues) in order for a chance to complete any in-game tasks and objectives that are completed in Rasheed’s “Challenge List” and earn Tier Points (TPs).

Tier Points (TPs), are part of a Tier Points System created by Rasheed to determine the status of a BallerNation member. Tier Points (TPs) provide each member a chance to potentially ascend up in any of the (10) Total Tier Rankings (TRs) (Black, Green, Teal, Silver, Orange, Brown, Blue, Purple, Gold, Red). with (3) Tier Levels (TLs) per Tier Ranking.

Each Member must advance to the 10th Tier Ranking (Red) in order to automatically qualify for BNA (BallerNation Association)’s Selection Night.

Selection Night is when over (60) curated BallerNation Franchise select from a list of over (700) Members that have competed in the BNL (BallerNation Leagues).

Building BallerNation

Rasheed’s versatility allowed for him to maximize his minimum amount of support, and assume multiple roles while competing in The ‘Nation Games on a daily basis.

The Challenge List & Tier Rankings

There are (3) Tier Levels per Tier Ranking. This allowed Rasheed to build on the momentum and to continue to maintain the excitement of the communities when he began his next ventures.

IN 2019, Rasheed “Rookey” Marsh started his own Podcast (Rook Talk) while working as a Social media manager for the after BallerNation was added into Rasheed “Rookey” Marsh’s personal multiverse named The “Ragonion Rookiverse”, which now provides a location for over 62 of Rasheed’s curated teams that compete in over 10 leagues each.
The Ragonion Rookiverse is also home to over 200 of his simulated characters.
This provides a chance for his Ragonion Rookiverse members to compete in separate leagues and earn Tier Points, while elevating to higher Tier Levels and Tier Rankings.
